The Wichita Pilots grabbed a win, 10-5, over the Hartford Yard Goats at Regions Field. Wichita shortstop Saul Tanquary was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Wichita reliever Delbert Porter picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Maxie Cofer was saddled with the loss. Kendrick Hamilton closed out the game, earning his 2nd save.

Andrew Roberts aided the Wichita cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman went 2-4 with a double.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Roberts.

The defeat makes Hartford 29-49.
