The Binghamton Rumble Ponies topped the Quebec Metros, 5-2, in Eastern League action at NYSEG Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Binghamton pitcher Charlie Henry. Henry, now 7-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The 4th-place Rumble Ponies improved to 44-33.
The Metros had some opportunities. Time and again, though, they couldn't capitalize and -- as a result -- left the stadium with a loss.
