Grizzlies Saddle Dark Knights with 7-6 Loss
The Gateway Grizzlies overcame a good performance by Yonkers first baseman Kayden Trumble to knock off Yonkers, 7-6, at FNB Field. Trumble hit 2 home runs. Oscar Carrasco picked up the save for Gateway, his 12th of the year. Even with the win, the Grizzlies have a dismal 26-52 record.

The Grizzlies got a big hit from right fielder Jax Stodolka. In the bottom of the sixth, Stodolka pounded a 2-run home run to left-center. His 1st home run of the season put the Grizzlies ahead, 7-5.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Yonkers manager Dylan Adams. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
