Nuttall Dominant in Altoona Win
The Altoona Curve got a marvelous performance from pitcher Victor Nuttall. The right-hander kept the Wichita offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 7-0 Altoona victory at People's Natural Gas Field. Altoona, at 38-40, occupies 5th place in the Eastern League Southwest Division.

It was a remarkable effort from Nuttall, who is one of the team leaders. Nuttall recorded 12 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 4 hits. Nuttall moves to 2-3 on the year with 51 strikeouts.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Nuttall told the Altoona Daily.
