Wichita used the clutch hitting of Jaxon Sears to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Pilots the lead, 6-3. For the game, Sears had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Sears told the Wichita Today.
