Pilots Suffer 5-2 Loss to Halifax
Halifax rode a good effort from starter Stephen Fortunato to beat the Wichita Pilots at MGM Park. The final score was 5-2. Fortunato, now 1-5, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The win has Halifax at 32-50.

The Frigates got a lift from third baseman E.J. Fleischmann, who in the bottom of the third stroked a full count curveball into left-center for a 2-run single. It was his 80th hit of the season and put the Frigates ahead, 2-0.

"I'd like to pile on a few more wins before the end of the year," said Fortunato.
