RubberDucks Suffer One-Run Loss at Binghamton
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies started the 2062 season win an impressive 5-4 win against the Akron RubberDucks at NYSEG Stadium. John Grieco led the way for Binghamton. Binghamton reliever Charlie Wieser picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. John Olson was saddled with the loss.

Had Chávez Feliz not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Feliz hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Rumble Ponies.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Grieco.
