Binghamton Rumble Ponies starter Mike Worthy hurled his team past the Yonkers Dark Knights, 2-0. Worthy picked up the win for Binghamton, going 5 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 3-4. Brooks Holsten finished the game for Binghamton and earned his 1st save.
Binghamton designated hitter Austin Pantoja helped the Rumble Ponies go up, 2-0, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Pantoja hit a 2-run home run off Yonkers pitcher Johnny Erero.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Worthy told the Binghamton News.
Binghamton now has a record of 48-36 with the win.
