Runs were plentiful at Gunslingers Ballpark.

Zack Lewis was the difference-maker for the Wichita Pilots in what turned into a shootout with the Yonkers Dark Knights. Lewis went 4-for-5 in the 16-10 Pilots win. Delbert Porter earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4 innings. His record is now 1-0.

Thomas Jones helped out the Wichita cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the center fielder was 3-6 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.

"Baseball's a game where I feel like almost everything that happens is strange," said Lewis. "Maybe that's why it's such a great game."

The win leaves Wichita with a record of 4-0.
