Fisher Cats Suffer 5-4 Setback
The Erie SeaWolves picked up a win at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, knocking off the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 5-4. Starting pitcher Jace Seney played a key role in the triumph. Alex Lanier picked up the win in relief for Erie, while Roger Yao took the loss. Albert Broughton closed it out for his 16th save.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Roy Dawson came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing New Hampshire pitcher Jon Purser, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Erie on top, 5-4.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Seney said.

Erie is 8th in the Eastern League Southwest Division with a record of 37-51.
