Marotta Lifts Barnstormers to 7-5 Win
Jameson Marotta was a major factor in the 7-5 Lancaster win over Lincoln. The Barnstormers center fielder went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Picking up his 3rd save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Kennedy. The Barnstormers now have a record of 39-49.

Lancaster took a 7-5 lead on Eric Jones's 10th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Jones hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Lincoln pitcher Zak Callahan visibly frustrated.

"If it's down the middle," said Marotta, "you might as well hit it."
