Big Day for Wilkens as Pilots Down Rumble Ponies, 6-5
The Wichita Pilots defeated the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 6-5, at Regions Field. Wichita catcher Dave Wilkens had a superb performance. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The triumph puts Wichita at 47-38 for the season.

Wichita took a 6-5 lead on Wilkens's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Logan Isaacs in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Wichita to the win.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Wichita manager Ryan Coleman.
