The Yonkers Dark Knights weathered a fine game by Binghamton catcher Gabe Strausser to upend the Rumble Ponies, 6-4, at Gunslingers Ballpark. Strausser went 3-4 with 2 home runs. Jacob Graham got the win, improving to 4-6. He held the Rumble Ponies to 3 runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Michael Bruton zipped up his 13th save.

Third Baseman Brandon Eckenrode made an impact for Yonkers, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Colin Frank in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Eckenrode was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Dark Knights manager Vince Hendrix. "This one was nice to get."

Yonkers is now 34-56, Binghamton 49-41.
