The Halifax Frigates and starting pitcher Tom Scales stifled the Hartford offense en route to a comfortable 8-0 win at MGM Park. Scales, now 4-8, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Adrian Pena earned his 3rd save in 5 chances.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at MGM Park seemed to enjoy watching the Eastern League action.

"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Frigates manager Leo Olvera.
