Barranco Impressive in 3-0 Altoona Triumph
|
The Altoona Curve picked up a win at The Ballpark at Jackson, courtesy of Dion Barranco. The right-hander helped his team stop the New Haven Ravens, 3-0. Jerad Brown got credit for the save for Altoona. It was his 8th of the year. Altoona, at 58-33, occupies third place in the Eastern League Southwest Division.
Altoona starter Dion Barranco was exceptional. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings of work.
"I was able to fill up the zone," said Barranco.
