Ravens Deal Curve 6-1 Defeat

Altoona had no answer for 23-year old left-handed pitcher Dylan Pearson. The New Haven Ravens starter stymied Curve hitters, helping the Ravens cruise to victory, 6-1. Pearson got the win, improving to 6-6. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 5.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. The Ravens now have a mark of 49-43.
Arthus Gordon had a big bases-clearing double for the Ravens in the bottom of the fifth inning. With New Haven leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from A.J. Greenberg, who is rated as the 92nd best prospect by BNN, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Ravens ahead, 5-0.
"Dylan just settled in and did what he does," said New Haven manager Mark Ennis.
