Hayden Watson did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Quebec Metros from being beaten, 5-4, to the Halifax Frigates at MGM Park. Watson was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Pablo Roman, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 9 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 7-7. The win hiked the Halifax record to 50-46.

Hunter Denning was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Halifax. The 24-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a 2-run single off Fisher Sawyer. It was his 35th hit of the season.
