Lincoln starter Jacoury Fanta pitched well against the Bowie Baysox at Prince George's Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The Bighorns, now 3-1, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Ken Schlichting came through with a big-time hit for Lincoln. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Fanta.
