Erie Bats Cold in 4-0 Loss
|
Quebec turned a fine outing from starter Junior Dexter into a victory over the Erie SeaWolves at Metros Ballpark. The final score was 4-0. Quebec, at 53-46, holds down second place in the Eastern League North Division.
Holden Flores helped out the Quebec cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3.
"We scored more than enough runs this time," said Quebec manager Justin Maurer. "Now watch. The next game we'll probably struggle to get a base hit."
