Win Makes Erie 58-46
|
The Erie SeaWolves beat the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 4-3. Erie pitcher and Isla Vista, California, native Marshal Hobin led the way. Erie reliever Hudson Hall picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Johnny Cyr was saddled with the loss. With the win, the SeaWolves have a record of 58-46.
Erie took a 4-1 lead on Jason Wheeler's 13th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Wheeler hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Binghamton pitcher Johnny Cyr visibly frustrated.
"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Wheeler.
