The Binghamton Rumble Ponies got a stellar performance from pitcher Joshua Wathen, who handcuffed the Portland offense en route to a win, 7-0, at Hadlock Field. Binghamton has now won 3 straight, while the Sea Dogs have lost 3 in a row.
The Sea Dogs had trouble solving Wathen, who surrendered no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Wathen told the Binghamton News.
