Win Goes to Patriots in Tight Contest
At Arm & Hammer Park, the Quebec Metros and Somerset Patriots were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Bradford Little pitched a gem to lead Somerset to victory over the Quebec Metros, 4-1. The winner in relief was Reece Herrera. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 3-1.

Had Jimmy Carter not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Carter hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Patriots.

"Bradford answered the bell," said Somerset manager Alex Chavez.

With the win, Somerset upped its record to 63-44.
