Kelvin Reed had a good game, but he could not keep the Quebec Metros from falling, 6-3, to the New Haven Ravens at Metros Ballpark. The Quebec right fielder was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs in the loss. Brendan Vega picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 8-5. New Haven is 7th in the Eastern League North Division with a record of 51-60.
New Haven used the hitting of Raz Beaulieu to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Ravens on top, 3-0. For the game, Beaulieu had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
