SeaWolves Roll to 8-1 Win Over Sea Dogs
|
The Erie SeaWolves converted a terrific effort from starter Marshal Hobin into a win over the Portland Sea Dogs at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves won the game by a final score of 8-1. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Erie.
Jason Wheeler, who is tied for 8th in the EL in hits with 113, helped out the Erie cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the right fielder drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.
"I like our mindset right now," said Erie manager Jose Villalobos.
