Rumble Ponies Rally Late to Nip Patriots

The performance of Marc Jones proved critical in helping Binghamton beat Somerset, 3-2. The Rumble Ponies second baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Binghamton is in 4th place in the Eastern League North Division with a record of 51-58.
Jones had a timely hit for Binghamton in the bottom of the eighth. With Binghamton trailing 2-0, he turned a 3-1 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season, making it 3-2, Binghamton.
"There's still time to turn this season around," said Jones.
