Pilots Get Past Erie for 3-2 Win
Wichita starter Stan Wilbur pitched well against the Erie SeaWolves at Jerry Uht Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. The save went to Micah McDevitt, his 10th this season. Wichita is third in the Eastern League Southwest Division with a record of 66-54.

Wichita used the clutch hitting of Tom Carter to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Pilots the lead, 3-2. For the game, Carter had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Carter.
