Randy DeWitt was a major factor in the 4-2 Yonkers win over Lancaster. The Dark Knights second baseman was 3-5 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Yonkers reliever Johnny Erero was the winner. His record is now 6-2. The losing pitcher was Christian Borland. Leeroy Watson recorded his 31st save for Yonkers.

Yonkers took a 4-0 lead on DeWitt's 38th double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Louie Riney in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Yonkers to the win.

Lancaster manager Gustavo Resendiz said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

The Dark Knights now have a mark of 58-61.
