Riding the 3-hit performance of the 22-year old first baseman Jaylon Skelton, the Somerset Patriots stopped the Wichita Pilots, 4-2, in 9 innings. Derek Goldstein earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 4-1. Wichita has now lost 5 straight.
