Ross Untouchable, Tosses No-Hitter
New Hampshire Fisher Cats starter Layton Ross was unhittable today at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.

Ross beat the Wichita Pilots 10-0, breezing through the Pilots lineup en route to a no-hitter.

"I thought Layton started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Fisher Cats manager Josh Sheppard said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Pilots never had a chance. He dominated them."

Ross struck out 11 batters and issued 5 walks in the performance.

This year Ross has gone 4-2 with an ERA of 3.81 and has 67 strikeouts in 87.1 innings.
