Parilla Too Much for Sea Dogs in 5-0 Altoona Win
|
Lucas Parilla nearly tossed a no-hitter for Altoona in a 5-0 Curve triumph over the Portland Sea Dogs. At 80-47, the Curve claim first place in the Eastern League Southwest Division.
Parilla scattered 1 hit over 8.2 innings for the Curve. With the win, Parilla goes to 9-5 on the year with 96 strikeouts.
"Lucas can overpower you," said Altoona manager Jose Ortiz.
