Somerset turned a good effort from starter Bradford Little into a win over the Lincoln Bighorns at Arm & Hammer Park. The Patriots won the game, 6-2. Ace Goodson earned the save for Somerset, his 1st. The Patriots, now 5-2, have hit the ground running this season.

Tim Lynn hit a solo home run off Lyric Shaffer in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Patriots ahead, 3-2. In addition to the homer, Lynn had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Little.
