Ian Thompson, who is tied for 9th in the EL in triples with 5, led Lincoln to a win over Halifax. The final score was 9-5. Thompson scored 2 times, while going 3 for 4. The first baseman also was credited with 1 run batted in. The Bighorns now own a record of 81-51.

Lincoln used the hitting of Connor Peterman to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Bighorns on top, 7-3. For the game, Peterman had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Thompson told the Lincoln Daily News.
