Billingsley Now 7-6 After Subduing Baysox
|
Jake Billingsley was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Prince George's Stadium. In fact, the Erie SeaWolves right-hander was instrumental in his team's 1-0 victory over the Bowie Baysox. The setback makes Bowie 47-84.
Billingsley earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Erie. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 8. Bowie hitters had little success against him.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Billingsley.
