Binghamton beat New Haven at The Ballpark at Jackson, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to shortstop Mark Grant. He was 2 for 6 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Binghamton reliever Sky Piasecki picked up the win. Mackenzie Bremer took the loss for New Haven. Jeremiah Tashiro closed the door for Binghamton, picking up his 3rd save of the year.

Binghamton third baseman Mirco van den Vondel delivered a solo home run in the top of the 12th. Overall, he went 3 for 6, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 1.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Grant, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
