The Lancaster Barnstormers picked up a win at FirstEnergy Stadium, dropping the Halifax Frigates, 6-3. Pogey Brice, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2060 draft, was the difference-maker. Brice got the win, improving to 3-1. He gave up 6 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. Silviano Díaz earned the save for Lancaster, his 2nd.

The Barnstormers benefited from an error in the bottom of the third inning. Lancaster was leading 3-1 when Michael Nuñez hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Lancaster in front, 5-1.

"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Brice told the Lancaster Bulletin.

Lancaster, at 61-74, holds down 8th place in the Eastern League Southwest Division.
