Whataburger Field played host to some exciting baseball.

The Corpus Christi Hooks defeated the Arkansas Travelers, 4-3, at Whataburger Field. Corpus Christi catcher Marquino Sanchez had a superb performance. He went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times. The win was credited to Nick Sarkozi in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Andrew Powers took the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Sanchez hit a fastball from Andrew Powers for a solo home run. The Hooks, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Sanchez said in his postgame press conference.

Arkansas falls to 3-3.
