Engineers Make It 8 Straight with 5-2 Win
The Shreveport Engineers beat the Rocket City Trash Pandas, 5-2, at Engineers Ballpark. The Engineers got a fine performance from second baseman Justin Seeman, who went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Shreveport reliever Cameron Reinschmidt was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Ulli Putz took the loss for Rocket City. The Engineers, now 8-0, have hit the ground running this season.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Engineers surged ahead when Seeman muscled his 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Ulli Putz made it 5-2, Shreveport.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Seeman.
