Scouts Earn 2-1 Road Win Over Corpus Christi
|
Chattanooga Scouts starter Stanley Kaminer turned in a sterling performance against the Corpus Christi Hooks, leading his team to a slim, 2-1 win. Jovi O'Meara earned the save, his 2nd. Corpus Christi drops to 9-2.
Turner Paist contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. His at-bat helped Chattanooga get the win.
"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said Scouts manager Fletcher Goolsby.
