Scouts Take Tight Tilt
|
Chattanooga Scouts starter Phil Wilcox was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Arkansas Travelers, 1-0. Lance Santo closed the door for Chattanooga, picking up his 1st save of the year. The win gives Chattanooga a record of 3-7.
Hudson Lynch chipped in for Chattanooga with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
"You don't always need a lot of runs to win," said Wilcox. "Sometimes you need just one or two."
