Frigates Rally For Late Win Over Patriots

Halifax Frigates pitcher Mike Daugherty whisked his team past the Somerset Patriots, 3-1. The Frigates are off to a tough start, getting just their 3rd win in 12 games.
In the bottom of the eighth, Halifax first baseman Aldomiro González hit a run-scoring single to left field. The clutch hit made it, 2-1, Frigates.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Frigates manager Leo Olvera. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
