Blue Wahoos Come Back Late to Top Travelers, 4-2
|
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos tallied a win at Rebels Ballpark, throttling the Arkansas Travelers, 4-2. Starting pitcher Leandro Hall was a big reason for his team's success. Pensacola reliever Dawson Clendening picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Harrison Murray was tagged with the loss. With the win, Pensacola goes to 8-11.
Pensacola took a 4-2 lead on Noah Goyette's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Goyette hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Arkansas pitcher Harrison Murray visibly frustrated.
"Leandro pitched like a son-of-a-gun," said Pensacola manager Irait Olivencia.
