The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

Tulsa beat Frisco on the strength of starting pitcher E.J. Sackrider's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-1. Sackrider, now 1-3, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run.

Lonnie Lawson chipped in a 3-run home run for Tulsa in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
