Shreveport beat Chattanooga at Engineers Ballpark, escaping with a 6-5 win in 10 innings. The win in large part was due to catcher Oscar Villarreal. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. For the Scouts, the loss makes them 7-11.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Villarreal hit a fastball from Finn Winston for a solo home run. The Engineers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Villarreal.
