The Chattanooga Scouts had to reckon with Northwest Arkansas Naturals hurler Declan Zant. Zant overwhelmed the opposition in the 8-1 Naturals triumph. The winner was Zant. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Sean Keith. The win takes Northwest Arkansas to 9-13.

Northwest Arkansas used a well-timed hit by Jonathan Foster to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Naturals ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Foster called the win "a team effort."
