The Shreveport Engineers topped the Midland RockHounds by the score of 6-4, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Brandon Brosnan. Brosnan went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk for the Engineers. Shreveport reliever Jason Tillett was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Neal Carr took the loss. The Engineers, now 18-3, have had a terrific start to the season.

Shreveport used a clutch hit from Justin Seeman to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Engineers ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Seeman.
