Biscuits shortstop J.D. Thompson left his mark on his team's 10-2 win over the Alexandria Aces. Thompson hit 3 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored three times for Montgomery in the contest. Marlon Valdez picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 9 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 2-1. Pablo Aguero earned the save for Montgomery, his 1st of the year.

With Montgomery leading 2-0 in the top of the second, Thompson hit a fastball from Ali Hall for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Biscuits ahead, 6-0.

"We're producers not directors," said Thompson. "Produce a good swing. Can't direct where it goes."

The Aces drop to 13-14 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2064 season.
