The Arkansas Travelers picked up a win at Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, defeating the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, 2-0. Starting pitcher Gastón Hernández was an essential part of his team's success. The winning pitcher was Hernández, now 1-0. He tossed 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 2. Duardo Espinoza recorded his 4th save for Arkansas.

The Travelers benefited from an error in the top of the sixth inning. Arkansas was leading 1-0 when P.J. Larmore hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Arkansas in front, 2-0.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Jacksonville manager Brady Reece.

Jacksonville, now 5-20, has gotten off to a terrible start.
