Lewis Plays Big Role in Pensacola Win
|
Pensacola pitcher Joshua Lewis had a large part in his team subduing the Shreveport Engineers, 4-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Pensacola raised its record to 15-13 with the win.
Lewis ran roughshod over the Shreveport lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 7. With the victory, he goes to 5-0 on the season.
"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Blue Wahoos manager Irait Olivencia.
