Victory Over Naturals Takes Montgomery to 20-11
|
Getting offensive support from Eduard Pasichnychenko, the Montgomery Biscuits topped the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 4-2. Pasichnychenko went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Biscuits. Lucas Astacio finished the game for Montgomery and earned his 6th save. The Biscuits have a winning streak of 5 games.
There was more than one reason the Biscuits beat the Naturals, but Pasichnychenko's big at-bat in the bottom of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 4-1 lead when he hit a 3-run home run.
"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Luis Gonzales told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
