The Shreveport Engineers buried the Alexandria Aces, 12-2, under a barrage of hits. Jeremiah Munsell led the onslaught, going 3-for-5 for Shreveport. Amauris Ureña picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 1. On the season, he is now 2-2. Todd Wilder earned the save for Shreveport, his 1st.

Munsell had a consequential at-bat in the top of the third for the Engineers. Coming up with runners on 1st and 2nd and Shreveport trailing 2-1, he hit a 3-run home run.
